La worry stone (en marbre du Connemara)
C’est un galet de marbre vert du connemara. Si vous la glissez dans votre poche, elle chassera tous vos soucis !
Sur celles que j’ai achetées, était écrit ce petit texte amusant :
« There are only two things to worry about : either you are well or you are sick. If you are well, then there is nothing to worry about : bit if you are sick there are two things to worry about : either you get well or you will die. If you get well, there are nothing to worry about. If you die then there are two things to worry about : either you go up or down. If you go up there is nothing to worry about. But if you go down you will be so busy shaking hands with old friends you wont’have no time to worry”
La croix de Ste Brigid
Elle est faite de brins de paille entrecroisés
Il faut la suspendre dans la cuisine et vous aurez l’assurance que le garde-manger ne désemplira pas. Il faut l’accrocher au mur le 1 février et apportera à votre foyer chance, paix et harmonie.
La bague de Claddagh
Elle représente un cour couronné entre deux mains. Le cœur représente la charité, les mains l’amitié. Elle aurait été fabriquée pour la première fois par un bijoutier de Galway au début du 18 è siècle
